Conspiracy and Favour: Positioned for Such a Time as This at WOID Conference 5th Edition

At the WOID 5th Edition, Pastor Elizabeth Kariuki shared an uplifting message titled Conspiracy and Favour, rooted in the story of Esther. She unpacked the meaning of Esther’s Hebrew name Hadassah—“mantle tree”—a tree known for providing shade and carrying medicinal value. Just as a tree offers covering and healing, so are women called to be Kingdom queens who carry influence and impact.

Pastor Elizabeth reminded women that the Kingdom of God is a place of provision, preparation, and security. Like Esther, who received all she needed for her assignment (Esther 2:12), every woman in the Kingdom is positioned “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14), because God is counting on them.

She assured women that God releases three divine gifts to equip them:

• Fearless courage to confront challenges.

• Favour with benefits that opens doors.

• Grace of prayer and supplication to birth breakthroughs.

Quoting Psalm 102:13, she declared that at your set time, everything will agree with you. She reminded women of God’s promise in Psalm 2:8 to give nations as an inheritance and the ends of the earth as a possession.

Her message was filled with memorable declarations: “Favour is never fair,” “There is power in simplicity,” and the assurance of an open cheque from God (Esther 5:3), where daughters of destiny can boldly present their petitions to the King of kings.

This was more than a sermon—it was a prophetic charge to rise, embrace divine favour, and walk courageously in their God-given assignment.
